Street Fighter II x Transformers Two Packs - Better Quality Images Reveal Pricing, More Details

Planet Iacon has posted a set of new, larger scans showing off the TakaraTomy Street Fighter X Transformers two-packs! Scheduled for Late May, the Ken vs. Chun Li and Ryu vs. M. Bison sets are ridiculous in all the best possible ways - and not too far off from TakaraTomy's usual pricing for figures of their size class, though having to purchase both at once kind of stings. Keep reading for more info!
None of the figures have any physical changes from their original releases, with the exception that Ken uses the Legends Hot Rod mold variation but comes with Titans Return Hot Rod's guns. We're still trying to figure out if using the rotating panel to replace Hot Rod's engine with Ken's exposed chest is genius or slightly disturbing. That pack will run 8,640 Yen.

It's not really surprising that Ryu and Bison (AKA Vega in the Japanese version) are Optimus Prime and Megatron here, though that flesh-colored face mask on Prime/Ryu sure is something. The two Voyagers will run 12,960 Yen.

We hope this is just the start. There's so many possibilities with this line!
