Studio Series #32 Voyager Optimus Prime Out of Package Comparison Photos

On the TFND Facebook page, Yenting Lai has shared a few pictures of the new Voyager Optimus Prime coming to Studio Series as number 32 in the Hasbro lineup. This is still Optimus in the form depicted in the first three movies, but now more screen accurate than the wave 1 release, and designed to combine with Leader class Jetfire.

The new toy comes with a rifle instead of swords, a fact used to distinguish easily the two robots in these comparison photos. As the overview shows, a great deal differs between numbers 5 and 32. And while some parts still seem to be common between them at a casual look, we're still brought to the ever-more-common question of whether it should be considered a retool or a new toy that utilizes a few existing parts. Either way, this looks like it might be worth the upgrade if you're concerned over media accuracy - whether or not you want to combine it with Jetfire later.
