PrimeVsPrime on Youtube has posted a video review showing off the upcoming Roadbuster figure from Transformers Studio Series. The Wrecker character from Dark of The Moon is represented here as the armed and armored race car seen in the movie, which is a first for a Deluxe class Roadbuster. Plus it helpfully covers most of the surfaces where sponsor branding might appear, leaving this toy to only sport Chevrolet and NASCAR labels - surely a great savings in licensing costs!
A side by side comparison with the original Deluxe Roadbuster from several years ago is honestly stunning. But of course while the Studio Series figure is leaps and bounds more visually accurate to the movie design, it has the advantage of not being produced based on very early design art like the DOTM toys themselves were. Otherwise, we get an overview of both modes in some detail, plus a run through of the transformation, which takes quite a bit of time and appears to be a pretty involved process.
