TakaraTomy Legends Titan Master Crowbar? Let's Check That Translation Again...

With the preorder for the October wave of TakaraTomy Legends figures we got the curious entry of "Crowbar" along with Kickback. Being that no G1 character shares that name, it was puzzling to figure out the intent. However, since that original announcement we got a look at the Japanese language version of the solicitations, which let us take another pass at reading that name. And the truth is a good bit more simple than it first seemed! Keep reading to see what's really up!

So in Japanese the item in question is written phonetically in katakana as "クラウダー". That's actually saying "Clouder", which was the name for Doubledealer in Masterforce - Doubleclouder. While we still don't know what Titan Master mold is being repurposed for this release, we do at least now know correctly what Kickback is being partnered with. But it may be a disappointment for some as we have effective confirmation Titans Return will not be offering a Doubledealer - at least not as a full size figure.
