Tokyo Comic Con 2018 - Transformers Masterpiece Display With MP-44 Convoy 3.0, Beast Wars Megatron And More

Finally, for now, from Tokyo Comic Con 2018 we have photos from the Masterpiece display. We finally got to see color promo photos of MP-44 Convoy this afternoon, but it seems for the convention tours it's still just the grey testshot unit making the rounds. We'd bet, though, that by Winter Wonderfest the color copy will be getting shown to exhibition-goers.

MP-43 Beast Wars Megatron was also catching attention from the attendees sharing media on Twitter, with its January release date - and ¥35,000 SRP - getting ever closer. But rather conspicuous in its absence in the display was Masterpiece Hound. All the way back at Summer Wonderfest we saw a color testshot (albeit obviously hand-painted) for the first reveal of this latest 1984 Autobot character Masterpiece, but here at this event, there's no sign of it at all. Hopefully that too will make an appearance when Winter Wonderfest rolls around. If not, people may begin to wonder -- and worry.
