Tokyo Toy Show 2016 - First Look At Masterpiece Cheetor Updated With Additional Photo!

Earlier we said we didn't expect any further surprises from Tokyo Toy Show. We were wrong. Just after the first reveal at a no-photography presentation, TakaraTomy has added the grey prototype Masterpiece Cheetor to its display - and tweeted out the first photo of it! True to the descriptions, the robot mode looks very cartoon accurate, while the beast mode looks fairly sleek, albeit kind of weird without any color. Click through to see the photo and more info!

Cheetor can be seen holding its default "gut gun", but an accessory tray to the side also shows the larger rifle made from the hindquarters of the cheetah mode. There are also alternate face options for both beast and robot mode. The much talked about whiskers meanwhile look... very much like someone thought that would be a very good idea during the design phase.

Stay tuned for more pictures as we get them!
