Tokyo Toy Show 2020 Cancelled Due to Covid-19 Pandemic

By now it is to be expected after SDCC 2020 has been canceled. Still, it doesn't make it any easier to accept that we're not going to have any more conventions this year as the ever-popular Tokyo Toy Show 2020 has just been canceled as well. Not unlike SDCC, this event has traditionally been the source of many new product announcements, so it remains to be seen what and how Takara TOMY will introduce new products this year. Read the official Tokyo Toy Show statement translated below.

Notice of cancellation

From the perspective of preventing the spread of new coronavirus infectious diseases, we have decided to cancel all Tokyo Toy Show 2020 scheduled to be held from June 11th (Thursday) to 14th (Sunday), 2020.

We would like to extend our deepest regret to everyone who was preparing for the exhibition, who were planning to attend the business talk, and who were looking forward to the general public. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you.
