Toy Fair 2018: Hasbro Takes Another Tilt At Vinyls Market With Return Of Mighty Muggs #NYTF2018

Remember Mighty Muggs? One of Hasbro's attempts to get in on the lucrative vinyl minifigures market, Mighty Muggs was moderately successful about 10 years ago and then more or less disappeared with the exception of the occasional show-exclusive. But in the intervening years Funko conquered the world with PoP! vinyls, so Hasbro's going to try once again for a piece of that pie. Keep reading for the reveal of the new, improved Mighty Muggs courtesy of Screeen Rant!
And in our opinion, the new Muggs are genuinely improved: where the originals were entirely printed onto a stock body, the new versions feature molded parts in the form of the characters' helmets, which also allows each figure to have multiple facial expressions.

Screen Rant is exclusively announcing that the Transformers brand will join the pop culture series of toys with figures from Star Wars and Marvel and you can get your first look below. Hasbro relaunched their Mighty Muggs line in January 2018 with by announcing plans for over 50 figures from Star Wars and Marvel, with each collectible figure including the new push-and-turn head feature that changes their facial expressions. And yes, this new feature applies to your favorite Cybertronians too!
