Toy Fair 2019 - Transformers G1 ReAction Figures Coming, Will Probably Make You Miss Action Masters

@preterniadotcom over on Twitter has posted the first image of a new line of Super7's ReAction Figures: Transformers! Showing off grayscale images of Bumblebee, Soundwave, Optimus Prime, and Megatron, the SRP on these toys is $15, and they'll likely show up at stores like Target and GameStop if previous ReAction releases are any indicator.

So, what are ReAction figures? Well, if you're old enough to remember Kenner's original Star Wars action figure line, where the figures had five points of articulation (shoulders, hips, neck), questionable sculpts, and all the warm, expressive body language of a fully embalmed cadaver... it's all that, except on purpose. If that hits the right nostalgia buttons for you, you'll love them. If you're one of the kids who snapped an arm on one of those figures trying to simulate an elbow, you can sit here and lament with us on those occasions when ReAction is the only option under $100 for a character you've always wanted a figure of.

And for those who don't know Action Masters: they were a late G1 subline that turned the Transformers into non-transforming, articulated action figures who had a small edge on these on account of having knees as well as ball-joints as opposed to swivels at the hips.
