Transformers Alternity Nissan GTR Dai Atras in Box Images

Thanks to auction seller lamp_250109 who has posted images of the Transformers Alternity Nissan GTR Dai Atras in the box on Yahoo Auctions.

The images reveal the official box and various views of the packaging artwork of the latest release in Alternity series.

This figure is a redeco of the Transformers Alternity Convoy (Optimus Prime) mold that is a homage to the 1990 Transformers Zone series that was shown only in Japan. Check out the box images below to share your comments.

I would have bought this if it was a new mold, I have to say this line is more annoying than the MP line, There are only 4 molds and this line took over Alternators / BT more than 2 or 3 years ago. Seems like this line is kind of an almost afterthought at time at this point. I feel they need to release another mold before releasing another straight up repaint. I hate to say that I have no idea who this character is.....

I'm still not crazy about the head, and definately not crazy about Dai Atlas being portrayed as something so small.

You could always put him in with some Cyberverse figures and, you know, never transform him :P

Or I could just leave it sealed... I have the other Dai Atlas anyways.

I still really like this guy. I may have to pick him up. If I wait for a version of Dai Atlas to show up in the U.S. it's probably end up being a Drift repaint.
