New Images of City Commander Trailer

BBTS has added some new pics of the upcoming City Commander Trailer set for pre-Order, which is compatible with Classics Ultra Magnus. Configurable as both a functioning trailer and as Ultra Magnus’ bulky appearance-altering battle armor, the City Commander set appears to integrate aesthetically and to preserve Classic Ultra Magnus’ full array of articulation; according to the prototype photos and the color illustration, the shoulder components include ports for the storage of Ultra Magnus’ guns. YOW!!! EIGHTY DOLLARS?!?!?! O_O

If hasbro made this, it would be $20.00-$30.00. No way in hell am I paying that ridiculously high price!

Actually if you consider the fact they don't have the advertising, or the budget Hasbro has then you might understand $80. Besides it's not even half as much as the Rabid Squirrel productions Cyber Fembot Arcee figures were. If I remember right they were about $200 for a 6" figure of Arcee. Great figure but very few people can afford such a high price my self included (which is why I'm hoping for a G1is Animated Arcee).

I may be getting me her for Christmas. If I'm good I may be getting me 2, cause I seriously believe Has/Tak will never come to their senses and just give us that!

We amy eventualy come close, I wanna see what Animated has to offer, but if they where gonna go the distance, they would have already. Plus I realy wanna do a stop motion of Daniel getting blasted, and I bet I could make a sacrificial dup of the headmaster out of Scuplty.

Yeah, and PS3/X-Box 360 games are worth £50... = :fail

As for nicer picks, I took these at TFCon 08 in Toronto....

Uhm I dunno NO ONE has seen this thing in their hands yet and reported it yet right? It looks to ME as if his 'crotch' pice will hinder his leg articulation TOO much. But we will see, we will see. They're not Hasbro you know. Sheesh. :) *joke..-ish* :)

I am passing on him JUST to get hte regular Transormers out now AND (of course) the Seacons as my 'official' pride and joy. Ahhhh *sigh* lol

THESE ARE NOT MY PICS OR WORDS ABOVE THEM

*edit* P.S. -To give you a hint, like Titanium Prime. THATS about as much leg articulation that this APPEARS to have. ;)

While I admit UM needs a trailer/armor, I'm just not feeling this set. And for $75 I'm really not feeling it. :tflaugh I hope this does well, as there's obviously a market for it, but personally I'll wait and see if it goes on clearance.

...

:rofl "clearance" :rofl

I don't see these making it to clearance. I preorder one about 2 weeks ago for $85 shipped ($76.99+7.31 for shipping BBTS wants $10.09 for shipping) from toynk.com so I'm looking forward to receiving this for my Cl Magnus. I like the way this armor works like the way Magnus' armor fell off during the fight with Shockwave in Transformers Generation One volume 2.

I was looking at these yesterday, I can't wait to get the email saying that these are in :tfevil

Dear god I hope it's announcement gets stickey'd.

Whatever, I realy do get impatient in the last minute. I have 2 on order(no I'm not just going to sell the second one), and $100 in credit at BBTS. I went dropped another $70 in my Pile of Loot, that way once it comes in, it's payed for and all I have to do is hit SHIP!!!

I love their preorder policies, but I hate not having the option to pay in advance.

This really is an amazing piece, I just wish it was like $20-$25 less. $76 for an armor set is just way out of the park for me, which sucks, because it really is a beautiful addition.
