Rumors About New Animated Characters For Season Three

The only G1 names I didn't see that I really wanted to was Fortress Maximus, Springer, the rest of the Constructicons, and another combiner or 2. Also where are the Beast Wars character names? I seem to remember another thread from a while ago that said there was going to be an episode with beast transformers I see Spittor (toad like thing) but that's it.

yah kinda agree with Blitz now haha ...new characters are def refreshing, even Prowl as a motorcycle was different and cool...jst miss my G1

i wish the would kinda stick wit G1 characters, there are sooo many to use before they start pulling characters from the other shows...

see I want something totally different I want new stuff not just the same list of names every year maybe just a rare homage like say wheeljack but no more its time to make some new characters e.g bulkhead

I have a bad feeling this is all a bit too late. Looking at next year's schedule, I sorta doubt we'll see any season 3 characters become toys.

I don't see it being a problem. Go down any toy aisle in America right now, and you will find side by side. Universe/ Movie/ Animated. So if they can all share shelf space now why not when the movie comes out, and why not with the whole 25th anniversary thing. Transformers are really big right now. I can't tell you how many times I have helped a totally lost parent in the toy aisles since the movie came out last summer to find just the right toy for their kid, and allot of times if that store didn't have the one they were looking for I was often able to tell them where I had seen it with in the last couple of days.

Okay, first off, I'm really confused whether to put this on News section or General Discussion. But from what I've heard, these are coming from S250, a certainly credible source. So well, this is about new characters on future installment of :animated, the third season, so to speak. And from that source, I can obviously guess that here are the casts..

Autobots

#1 Rodimus Prime.

#2 Red Alert, role as female medic.

#3 Brawn.

#4 Hot Shot.

#5 Arcee, Okay, maybe not so new, since she already appeared on Lockdown's debut episode, "Thrill of the Hunt". But still... Maybe new alt-mode.

#6 Jetfire, obviously.

Decepticons / (Predacons?)

#1 Cyclonus.

#2 Spittor, a toad-like thing, maybe fully organic transformer or experiment went wrong.

#3 Strika, yep, the big bad battlin' lady from BM Vehicons!

#4 Jetstorm, also.. obviously.

#5 Oil Slick, we've heard about the creative team interested on fitting him into season 3, right?

And here are the remaining two, which are totally ambiguous & shrouded in mystery for now.

#1 Blackout, yes, from 2007 movie, but the clue from the source, stated "B****o**, looks like a big beetle". But, could be Blast-Off, or entirely new character with old name.

#2 Decepticon Bonecrusher OR Autobot Beachcomber, with the only hint being "B*********r", no words regarding his allegiance. But most probably Beachcomber.
