Here's something new besides
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen beating away dinosaurs that may be the most interesting one as of late. It seems that when Megan Fox auditioned for Michael Bay for the first film, he had her wash his Ferrari.
According to
The Trailer Trash, an online tabloid for The Observer and The Guardian, not only did Mr. Bay watch her wash his Ferrari, he filmed it.
Ms. Fox reportedly told the Trash that she doesn't know where the film went, and Mr. Bay denied knowing where it went as well, while appearing "suitably abashed." He has been known to collect a large array of sports cars.
It is unknown which Ferrari she washed, exactly, but
The Big Money jokes that with the cheapest Italian supercar pegged at $180,000, it must be the most terrifying audition ever.
This is just another blemish between the two after
Revenge of the Fallen hit theaters.
In an interview Mr. Bay conducted with the
Wall Street Journal that we reported on last month, Mr. Bay addressed the claim by Ms. Fox that his films do not offer much in the form of acting opportunities. We skipped this detail because it was irrelevent at the time (line breaks mine):
She says some very ridiculous things because she’s 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it.'
But I 100% disagree with her. Nick Cage wasn’t a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn’t a big movie star before he did Transformers—and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys.
Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I’ve had some luck in building actors' careers with my films.
