Fox Stories Wrap Up - Men Centric Sites Want a Break, Her & Bay Are Cool

Megan Fox at Transformers Revenge of the Fallen LA PremiereThere are some rather interesting stories stemming from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen starlet Megan Fox.

The first comes from the New York Daily News, which reports that guy-centric websites including AskMen.com have declared August 4th as a Megan Fox media blackout day.

Why?

They feel the star is a bit too overexposed, having graced many magazine covers in her sexy poses as well as paparazzi following her everywhere and talking about why she decided to wear a white shirt and jeans over a blue shirt with a little short skirt (okay, so I might have made that up. Maybe.)

Next, Ms. Fox says that she and Director Michael Bay aren't having a "war or words."

Speaking with MTV during the 2009 San Diego Comic-Con, she simply says "That's just me and Mike. That's how we talk."

She continues, "I don't feel like we're in a war of words at all."

She also says the statements that Mr. Bay made in an interview with the Wall Street Journal are not far from the truth.

In the interview, Mr. Bay addressed the claim by Ms. Fox that his films do not offer much in the form of acting opportunities by saying that, "She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do."

Mr. Fox's response is not exactly what some expected, but in line with her statements in the interview: "Obviously, what he said is not untrue, about me saying ridiculous things all the time and being 23. That's all accurate."
