True, but supposedly the voice actor roundtable is going to only be offered with the Matrix box set. Silly as it might sound, that roundtable is worth $25.

The MSRP on these aren't bad, which is nice after being bilked $50 a box by Rhino. I wonder though id S2/V2 will have Prime and Megatron even smaller closer to the top, the Dinos and Dev in the middle and some new figures in the foreground

Amid all the Masterpiece Ironhide news, we find a new announcement from Imaginarium Art teasing what we can only assume is a Generation 1 Ironhide cartoon edition statue. Read on for the full teaser, with no word on release or pricing at this time.
It's been a little while, but the TF @ The Moon team has once again released some lost studio recording audio from the G1 cartoon for everyone to enjoy. The latest samples come from The Ultimate Doom part 3, and the followup episode Countdown to Extinction. Of special note, Countdown to Extinction features a few Optimus Prime lines done by a fill-in in place of Peter Cullen, who sounds a lot like Chris Latta to us. These lines were obviously never meant for broadcast, and are another rare inside look at some of the technical side of the making of the old cartoon. Both videos are embedded below and are definitely worth a listen!
