Ahh, I didn't take it personal at all. As a fellow EAGLES fan - i have very thick skin, and am use to far more abuse than anything i've seen on here. LOL This place is utter tranquility.

Here, you guys should like this, all it needs is a drop of white paint. I have it and it's awesome with Cobra Commander!!! (link) It really only enforces my point though. If this was made to tack on to Transformers, it would probably be $10 minimum, and people would still or... read more

Just cheked out your link....and i does raise the question " Why are we paying soooo much for these pieces?". It's not really justifiable. I understand that your paying for the name or at least in a third party case it's association with an established francshise but thats all the ... read more

The only third party company that gets my full support is FansProject. I always feel like these other companies are jumping on their bandwagon and trying to take advantage of us.

I was only screwin with ya, so don't take it personaly. Fact of the matter is, like you said TF items go for a premium, even when they are subpar pieces. Now a company and retailer can charge whatever they want. Some shops are fair like the $12 MP Roller, or $11 CC upgrade. Other comp... read more

I don't mean to excuse the shotty work. And if they sold the modules WITHOUT the walls and floors - i'd actually jump all over that. And that - would be $30-40. I was not looking at the cots from just a "what does it cost to make them" approach as much as what are things i... read more

Man, you are the soul of the new machine

ahh.. $30-40 is realy cheap. Comeon a non-transforming roller & gun by itself cost about $29.95. I think it's worth the price "IF" it snapped together better. I still think it's worth $80 given how good it looks. So in my view, if I go thru with it - i'm... read more

Agreed, plastic would look better. For $119 less shipping, you'd want it to hold up though. So I will agree again that cardboard does have it's own charm too. I mean for the price of 2 sheets of photo quality paper (maybe 4), you can blow up Teletran 1 and have it repaired in no time

No offense at all.. but I cannot see a cardbox set looking nearly as good as molded plastic. Throw in the fact it needs to also 'transform' also? I just can't see it. But as long as your enjoying the project, who really cares? I hope it turns out incredible. I know i'd like to... read more

More Third Party News
This week on Radio Free Cybertron: Tons of Authentics talk this week. What do the "evergreen" toys do for Transformers fans? Plus we discuss the newly discovered Studio Series, and talk about movie toys we'd like to see tackled again. Also on the show we talk about the future of Transformers Legends from Takara Tomy, and two more third party Cliffjumpers on the way. All that plus we answer listener questions this week!

On their Facebook page, Planet X posted a number of photos of grey testshot samples of their trio of unofficial Insecticons, based on their appearances in Fall of Cybertron. As you may recall, previously an official Kickback was released based on this design as part of the 2012/2013 Generations line, but this will be a first shot at a physical representation for the other two. We get to see basic front and back views of each figure and some group shots. Scale, pricing, and planned release timeframe were not revealed in this post. Click through to see the mirrored images!
Alien Attack Toys' latest unofficial transforming robot offering appears to be starting to hit availability in parts of Asia. Through a couple of sources we have some in hand shots of what looks like a final (or if not a very, very close to final sample) of El Cid, based on Optimus Prime more or less as he appears in Age of Extinction, and The Last Knight. In particular we get to see things like the weapons in full color, and some close looks at the unmasked face option. Check out the images just below!
Via the Weibo pages of Alucardlee, and SunOfTheEmpire, we have a number of photos to share of Blitzkrieg, the Onslaught of Zeta Toys' unofficial Combaticon team. The images show a figure that can be switched from a cartoon inspired blank chest panel or a toy-derived, higher detail chest to suit different visual priorities. But mostly we see the 'combat base' made of most of the Bruticus torso elements, as well as how it can interact with Zeta's not-Blast Off as a launch platform. Plus we have some bonus shots showing a fully assembled Armageddon combined form. Click through to see them now!
Unofficial product of Transformers characters do seem to come in groups, don't they? Currently we are in The Cliffjumper Cycle, as joining a recent batch of Masterpiece-alike Cliffjumper analogues, we now have Grasshopper, from group Mister Moon. Though their product line is called "Mini Master Series", this looks like something in the Legends size range rather than another to fit a Masterpiece shelf. So far we have render images of robot and vehicle (we enhanced the robot image to better see the details) and one shot of a 3D printed prototype of the car mode, which adheres pretty close to the G1 toy. See it all below!
