Power Core Combiner Doubleclutch Mold Errors - How To Fix Guide

So I picked up the doubleclutch 5 pack at walmart and I get home and find he is a absolute PAIN to get into combiner mode. Mainly in the elbow area... so I do some investigating and discover that hasbro molded a locking mechanism into doubleclutchs bicep for a clip/peg on his elbow... but here is the problem... the peg on his elbow is just to freaking big to fit into the hole in the bicep.

So I pull out my handy dandy nail file and go to work on that peg... and a few minutes of careful filing later I have a fully working locking mechanism, the figure holds together so much better now...plus his drone arms look much more natural as compared to how they was before.

Whats hilarious about this whole thing is the fact that the prototype figure on the box aparently does not suffer this problem at all. The only thing I can think happend is that hasbro figured that the joint might break and cause a choking hazard or some sillyness like that, so they remolded it so it didnt work at all... problem is... it made combining doubleclutch a VERY scary experiance since he was obviously designed to use the system, and without using the locking system you put a gigantic ammount of stress on the pegs that plug into his wrists, not to mention that it makes posing the figure a nightmare.

So I HIGHLY reccomend you do this mod if you get this guy, it makes him so much better!
