Corbot V Announces New Project - War For Cybertron War Axe
BaCon - Tuesday, September 14, 2010

Corbot V is a small group of friends, all with interests in giant robots battling it out. They are fans of many different shows in this genre. Their goal is to bring items to fans, which we all wish existed already. Here they have posted images of their prototype "War Axe" that is a rendition of the weapon used by Prime in the War For Cybertron game.

Below are images of the War Axe accessory we are currently working on, to bring to fans. The prototype shown below is a resin test casting, to test fitting, and figure out issues when we make the final molds. So please view it as a reference model, of how the final version might end up looking like. Colors and design will vary with the final product. Stay tuned for news in the coming weeks on this and other projects we are working on.

Definitely fits but not with Optimus, ther eare other figures it would look better with

This is the first figure I bought and I can't say that I didn't see this picture and laugh with delight. I really would be interested in getting this too if it is reasonable. I also agree that it looks like the lightning detailing on the blades are a little out of place... as long as the col... read more

If this isnt too pricey I'll get it to go with whatever I can find to go with it. If its gonna be made to fit that fist size then it should work with plenty of other TFs too.

It is definitely a nice axe and I like it on its own, but I also agree it doesn't fit with the toy. To me it says Animated Grimlock (or maybe MP Grimlock)a lot more than it says WFC Prime. It is just too shiny and detailed to go with a deluxe figure that has limited detailing. If the price is ... read more

WOW! Where's the love button??

its neat, and i like it, but i dont want it for previously mentioned reasons. for those interested, this is what i do for my WFC Prime: tuck the hand into the forearm as per transformation, and insert Chopster (in axe mode, of course) into the fist hole. viola, Neo-G1 Prime axe!

Yeah, I agree with Sami and Lord_Onslaught said. I would think the Animated battle begins Optimus Axe would look better.

To Flashy, I like what Sami said about it. And Trans Lego Man, you want everything

i so fricken want that axe, hands down awesome

I agree with Sami. In my opinion its .. meh. A axe that looked like the game be cool though, this imo, isnt it though. NEXT!

More Third Party News
Coming from Weibo, we have some nice photos of a redeco of a fairly early Iron Factory "Legends"-scale figure. IF EX-05H is "The Hunter" which is their unlicensed Windblade figure in a deco based on the Combiner Hunters set from San Diego Comic Con. Though in lieu of the giant weapon the actual Hunter Windblade included, The Hunter seems to only come with two of its normal sword rather than the original release's single sword. We don't have release information on this right now, but it could be worth keeping an eye out for, especially if you had an interest in the first release. Keep reading to see all the photos!
Why didn't someone do this before? The EX04 Dinokong from Zeta is a Giant Combiner figure made up from five dinosaur robots in a somewhat darker gray and gold style color theme that really is more than meets the eyes. Included with this combiner set are 5 bladed weapons in red and black to offer another level of accenting. The Zeta pre-order is estimated to arrive July 2018 for a price of $349.99 USD. Read on to see the images and more details.
Generation Toy has a prototype for something actually pretty interesting in the increasingly tried-and-tired unofficial Masterpiece game. GT-11 RedBull, as seen in photos from the Weibo page of Chaos_龙飞, is a take on Sideswipe sized similarly to the Masterpiece Autobot cars, but instead of a Lamborghini, its alternate mode is a robotic bull. This is based at least somewhat on some recently popular art of G1 characters with robotic animal alt modes, and if this is an indication, the design seems to translate to 3D quite well. Check out the mirrored images below.

Mastermind Creations shared a few photos of their display at Cyber City Con, which had samples of some upcoming products. Azalea falls under the Ocular Max branding, and is a Masterpiece-style Arcee, offering its particular take on the familiar and now often-repeated G1 Arcee design. Also seen was Foxwire which will be part of the Reformatted series. This represents The Pet, as seen among the Decepticon Justice Division in select issues of More Than Meets The Eye. No release date or other details are available for these items at this time, but you can check out the display photos below!
