Hasbro Answers Your Burning Questions Part X! Confirms Animated Done

We got our responses back from Hasbro in our Burning Questions campaign! This round, we asked about whether the unreleased Transformers Animated figures would keep coming, but we were met with an unfortunate answer. Also, we asked about their "cartoon first, toy line later" approach.

In the case of recent series with supporting shows (e.g., Animated, Prime), do you feel that the 'cartoon first, toy line later' approach is the most viable and beneficial to fans, as well as sales of the product?

For Transformers, we look to create an immersive brand experience for all of our fans. Whether that be through movies, animation, video games, toys, t-shirts, etc., our goal has always remained the same, it is about allowing fans of Transformers to celebrate and experience the brand in any form or fashion that they desire.

With the release of Animated Rodimus Minor and Ironhide, can you provide any insight for any of the other Animated figures that we have previously seen (e.g., Wingblade Optimus Prime, Blackout)?

Unfortunately, at this point in time those will be the last Animated figures that will be released. We of course will continue to find a way to release those items that have not been released if the proper opportunity presents itself.
