Toy Fair 2008 - Animated Deluxe Class Image Gallery

Just in are official images of the Transformers: Animated deluxe class figures.

Retailing for $9.99 and available June 22, 2008 with additional waves throughout 2008, figures in the deluxe class feature character conversion that mirrors conversions in the new series. The assortment will feature a variety of characters with battle weapons and firing projectiles.

Although not a watcher of the new Animated show, the toys are surprisingly cool. Reminds me of G2 in some of the molds. Jazz is really slick!

What are those pegs on Laserbeak for? They don't seem to be necessary for his transformation or to allow Soundwave to hold him.

He already has four volume knobs molded into the red section, and the area with the pegs is hanging behind the back of the van when it's mounted in vehicle mode, so it can't be for that.

Oh wait, I just figured it out! Soundwave has holes in his forearms. Sweet, shredding poses!
