BT-21 Arcee - Paradron Medic Version

Looks like there will be two versions of Transformers Binaltech BT-21 Arcee Honda S2000 Hardtops from TakaraTomy.

This is in similar fashion to BT-08 Meister, which was released in both white and red.

One will be in Arcee colors, which we have already seen and another in Paradron Medic colors.

Both are expected to be released simultaneously in Japan, retailing at 5,000 Yen each on July 17, 2008.

Serile's right. This is a semi-more feminine lookin mold. WITH the pull out robo boobs.

there is rumor that there might not even be 2 recolors.. this could be just like when BT17 was going to be red prime and BTA4 was going to be nemesis. It never happened.

I talked to the owner at TFSource and emailed him the news articles about the multiple colors because I have already preordered all the new BT's. He called his source in japan and said as far as they know right now it's only a SINGLE COLOR. The thing is due out within 4 weeks as well (mid/late June) I would have expected if there was truly going to be a duplicate color "released at the same time" they would have more definite information for shipments.

I wouldn't be surprised if it only comes out in pink. Personally, I kinda like it.

has anyone seen a preorder up for this one yet... it seems i've got a fever that movie and animated can't scratch right now...

Actually I have not. I've been checking BBTS, but they haven't listed one yet, surprisingly. I hope it doesn't turn out to be some kind of damned exclusive.

Well perhaps because its in Japan they didn't have a problem with a flat chested robot being female.

... that's because in Japan, they don't have a problem with a flat-chested woman being female.

... God bless America.

Actually I think the body works well. It's probably the most "feminine," it's lean, there's really no kibble, no huge clunky feet, beefy arms, backpack, etc. And for those who have never actually played with one of these, the chest can easily be folded out to resemble roboboobs... if you're weird enough to do that.

Of course the head is still all wrong. I showed it to a friend who asked "is that Megatron?"

Works nice, but not as a "female" robot. Yeah, I'm gonna agree with just about everyone....wrong body, needs new head. What were they thinking?
