Comic-Con 2008 Exclusive Nemesis Prime Images

Just in are several official images of Transformers Classics Nemesis Prime. The figure is a repaint of the Optimus Prime mold and will serve as a Comic-Con International: San Diego 2008 exclusive.

Another variant from TakaraTomy with red windows also exists and is slated to be either a WonderFest or C3X exclusive.

Three conventions in one year with each a evil version of the classic Prime mold. Hm, one would think there's a serious lack of imagination.

To be honest I find this SDCC version (and therefor the japanese version as well) extremely boring. It's an evil prime and look his black with gray, with blue/red clear parts. BORING !!!!

Now the botcon version I like. It's not perfect (would've switched the colors of the upper/lower legs myself) but it's far more imaginative and better executed. Should I be willing to spend too much money for a version of this mold, then it would be the Botcon version.

(But honestly, between CL Magnus and Henkei Prime, I'm all classic'd out for this mold.)

I liked midnight blue on Armada Nemesis Prime... but I have my own ghey reasons for that.

even if they had used the tan like nem big convoy i'd been ok with it. they should have made botcon op's grey parts black and given the gray to this one.

an easy fix though it may be. we can swap the new blue with reg op's and then just paint those parts black.

but maybe in person, it'll look better to me.

ok, i'm done complaining.

i'm just saying the colors don't go well. if you don't want to do him all black, fine, use red. personally, the midnight blue black is distracting, not unified.

I think its more of a nod to universe nemesis prime then the past truck nemi primes

but I agree it is odd if it were more different I could see it working maybe a dark red or cream

If anyone can get hold of one of these for me I'll gladly pay the price plus postage to spain for it. PM me if you're interested in helping me out

a few weeks ago maybe at botcon I think they told us TakaraTomy was going to do it with red windows then I found one on ebay and their are a few differences I personally like the Hasbro toy more the red really isn't nice on this guy

saying that the other hasbro toy seemed darker and had metallic cyan on the arms not silver (still had a silver gun)

as for all the bitching face it... you want one or will get one since you think its rare and you might get a good deal.

You're right, sir. Here's the pics http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=9363

i'm glad i bought sg op now, this one sucks and blows at the same time.

I really don't think the Shattered Glass version, the TT version, or the Hasbro version can really be compared; they all share a similar theme, but they all represent uniquely different characters. Each figure represents its character rather well, IMO.

The BotCon 08 Shattered Glass Prime represents Optimus Prime himself from a mirror universe where Autobots are evil.

The TT version represents good old Optimus Prime, leader of the heroic Autobots, just in a black deco.

The SDCC Hasbro version represents an evil Decepticon clone of Optimus from the regular universe.

All three do fairly nice jobs conveying the character they represent, it just comes down to what you want in your collection.

if i can get one i will, and paint it.
