So is this a regular release or is it one of those 300% higher price exclusives?? Like is it gonna be in similar numbers as say BumbleBee or is it gonna be an ultra rare item?
I am on e-hobby's website, but for some reason my browser won't translate it... is this still available?
agreed. just wish more retailers offered this so it would be more competitively priced. especially since odds are the price it is being offered at now by retailers will not hold a year from now. :(
There's just something about TF's made out of clear colored plastic :), and this figure doesn't dissapoints.
However, I already own CL Magnus & Henkei Convoy and the only way I see myself getting another version of this mold is if I can get the Shattered Glass version for a nice price (only one of the evil version that worh getting IMO).
But it's fun to read that this figure wasn't much of a hit in Japan, but popular in the western world.
shopping in japan is awesome, but the selection is hit or miss at times. imo hk can be better since you can negotiate more. as for this ehobby crystal convoy it was not a huge success in japan compared to how crazy it is getting here in the states. scalpers are not helping the matter remotely but some are selling/offering it cheaper than retailers like bbts. so think about who is actually scalping whom. a reasonable mark up i can understand but over a 150 mark up, that is just asinine! :die :hrfinger :finger
Primal Convoy:From what Ive heard from fellow fans here in Japan, some scalpers from the USA and Hong Kong devoured the lot in a matter of minutes. One western scalper, I heard, brought about 8 "cronie-cons" with him and proceeded to buy oodles to sell at a rival TF site. Personally I hardly ever bother going to these conventions unless I know I can get a dealer pass from a chum or too.
And to think most of my mates and I here in Japan were not even bothered about this edition...Why did it sell out so fast?
Must be nice to LIVE in Japan though, huh? I would DIE to shop in Japan with friends. Is the TF hunting good or is it tough to find stuff on days there released. Do they keep there release date on schedual?
anyways, i WANT this fig. Whats it like 200?

I really like this Clear Convoy! I just may end up getting him as I cannot get enough of this mold and I do not have a Japanese version of him yet; depending if the price is right, that is. Glad to see that Takara is really extending the Classics/Henkei line like they have done with all their other Transformer lines.
its nice and I like how they painted the eyes but looking at the prices I could really do with out it plus nemesis prime is more my cup of tea since I have an odd liking toward emo repaints
