Did you know that wildrider is the Japanese name of R.I.D. X-brawn? :tfhuh He looks just as good as BotCon 2008 Evil :bot Rodimus

I wonder if they changed the light piping and window color?

Eh, maybe if they lost the flames....

:pfx

I kind of hope Hasbro finds an excuse to repaint Rodimus for the Universe line. Some one has a Primus-themed deco artwork of either Rodimus or Rodimus Prime avatar here, and I think it'd be cool to do a repaint based off that.

<----

That would be me.

It's actually a piece of Classics Rodimus from the TFCC magazine, photoshopped by me into Primus. (There's some obscure lore about how Rodimus is the mortal reincarnation of Primus but it's Japanese and I haven't even seen a mention of it in the wikis.)

Ah! Yeah, he has it. It's a really good job. Thanks for the inspiration. :tflaugh

It's actually not as obscure as you think. From what I remember of the G1 Marvel comic, (which is bits and pieces, since that's all I've read of it, really.) Grimlock and his team went to (I think) the core of Cybertron, found this giant head of Primus and it looked a bit like G1 Rodimus. Takara then followed up on that (at some point, I think it was fairly recently when they did the Rodimus Prime reissue) by taking a Rodimus Prime toy, making it gold and releasing it, in limited fashion, as "Primus". (ETA: Here's the Wikia entry: http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Primus#Generation_1_2 )
