I love these figs though I fear the dreaded qc virus will surface.Knock on wood.

i personally blame you for any faults/defects in my Jazz figure

There are more high res pics of these slides on the net in places. Those are the ones "I" saved to my PC. ;) I like them ALL, especially the PCC Dino's & Construticons, along with the G1 Legends Prime, Starscream, and Megs. Even Goldbug is cool. :P The deluxes are as bad ass as ever! Jazz, Scourge (to go with Cyclonus), Perceptor, Tracks, Windcharger are da bomb!

All these Generations figures look great, but it just makes me think they need to make a new voyager or Ultra Optimus Prime to go with these. The Henkei!, Classics version is dated imo! I personally HATE the mold, and pretty much all the molds from Classics w.1 are dated minus possibly the seeker molds (just to not have to go through that fiasco again :D )

How's Jazz a repaint??? :wtf It's a completely new mold

Maybe its the pic but he looks a lot like Prowl and Silverstreak, just with some retooling.

    I'm still getting him

    Hes not, hes an ENTIRELY new mold! He has speakers that pop out in bot mode and car mode, and has a different transformation. ;

*snip* I like them all...especially the Grimstone and Steamhammer PCC's, Jazz, Grapple, and the legends Prime, Starscream, and Megatron! I'm on the fence with Perceptor, I need a better look. Tracks looks weird to me, maybe it's because I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Are those his arms??? His real arms look tucked straight down at his sides...so what are those lanky things with the knife tip?*snip*

Those are Tracks "wings" in the back, and his arms just have this wierd joint that should be straightened out while in bot mode. ;)

*snip*Scourge looks good, but I'm wondering why they gave him such a make-over, considering the nice G1 tribute Cyclonus turned out to be! They would have looked great together, but now Scourge will look like he's from another line entirely.*snip*

His arms are NOT connected to his shoulder ports, im guessing he will look alot better once we see him "properly" transformed. :)

I think the answer for Perceptor is that they had the figured half designed for Animated and figured adapt it instead of scrap it.

I'm iffy on it, but alot of these pictures are obviously rough. I wanna see more detail and hope that since Perceptor is a truck they didn't scrap the field lab submode from the origional Animated concept sketches.

its pretty confusing though i mean Jazz in Animated was a fast, nice race car and in G1 the same thing and now with Generations its the same thing just a little different in both his vehicle and robot mode, and tracks is basicly the same too a nice dark blue race car with the flames on the sides from G1, but then again was Tracks in Animated?

That was Animated's catch though, they tried to fill it with as many G1 refrences as they could.

Beyond that especial Tracks, it was just cameo type stuff. Perceptor was pretty far in design concerning Animated, but I think Tracks is a season 2 favorite who they decided to rehash. There's nothing really Animated about that pic(thank god) concerning Jazz, there'll always be a demand for the character same as Optimus, Starscream, Megatron and so on...

i completely forgot that Tracks was even in the back round of Animated, i really wonder what other figures Generations will have, hopefully a wide variety of figures

They are slowly redoing all of G1 which is a good thing as they have been staying faithful for the most part with a few exceptions (Galvatron, Megatron sorta, Ultra Magnus, Devastator)

I'm still holding out hope for an updated Wheeljack, and Dinobots to go with Grimlock

Not sure why you added Ultra Magnus to your list there since he was actually very faithful to his original G1 figure (a white redeco of Optimus Prime with a different trailer), the only thing he was missing was his trailer.

I'll snag almost any of the Generations-classics-universe toys, pass on the rest.

At first glance my jaw dropped on the dinobot set, but after taking a closer look, sorry but pass. Grimlock is not the center, the other 4 dino's probably don't transform into a little robot, it's just not the dinobot merge team I was hoping for.

Perceptor, sorry but pass. I don't think it looks much like an animated series toy. Actually I think it might have been another Soundwave toy that they swapped the colors to make it Perceptor.

Jazz, Grapple, Windcharger, Scourge, Thunderwing, tracks...about time.

Steppper, Hauller, Tailgate, what ever the Black Thunderwing's name was, Shadow something, Road Rage. Repaints, bring em on!

I went tHenkei with the Megatron classics mold

their is always gonna be the couple figures that will either not be made or a completely different mold, expecially Megatron and maybe even Shockwave

I like Classics Megatron. He's a great figure. I understand they had to do what they did because of safety regulations, and functionality.

Still the figure comes off as a solid toy. I don't mind the wings either. I do wish though they gave an option to detach them, maybe use them as a shield or something. Maybe hide some bonus weapons in there.

On second thought, almost all of this is bought except for Gold Bumblebee, he doesnt look very gold. I'll wait for the Takara version which Im sure will probably be gold chrome instead :D then I'll have a Goldbug proper.

And the PCC Dinobots is looking better to me and I already liked it. Looks like he might have some better, proper looking arms and legs in gestalt mode.

I'm not complaining about any of them except for Devastator, I never liked the Energon combiners until Fansproject came along and fixed Superion and Bruticus

Megatron has always been understandable what with American laws about guns. Though Galvatron could have been done in his laser cannon mode as a Voyager or leader class IMO

While others look way better then their original mold. Grimlock, Henkei Prime, the seekers.

I'm hoping for more and now that you mention him definitely Shockwave should get the voyager or ultra treatment
