Transformers 3 Defend the Earth Augmented Reality Mobile Game Now Available on the Apple iTunes Store

Paramount Pictures has unleashed the free TF3: Defend the Earth augmented reality game on the Apple iTunes store with just two days to spare from the World Premiere in Moscow, Russia and one week away from the Transformers Dark of the Moon release in theaters around the world (except Japan and China).

The video game is currently for Apple's iPhones 4 and 3GS, and the iPad2. The premise of the game is simple: aim your phone or tablet's camera at a Transformers Dark of the Moon poster featuring Optimus Prime to activate an Augmented Reality game against the Decepticons.

Players can share stores and achievements on Facebook. Geolocation is also utilized so users can find their closest poster for the AR game.

Download the application at the Apple iTunes store.
