Michael Bay has been doing all the talking on theTransformers 4 movie giving us a heads up he's back in the driver seat with Peter Cullen riding as passenger. Now, we have some more news via The Examiner on Transformers 4 and 5 from Con X KC convention in Kansas City, Missouri where actor Glenn Morshower, who plays the role of General Morshower (ironically) talks about the continuation of the series and the story of a meeting with Steven Spielberg and how Transformers The Ride brought him back into the fold and shooting that may begin in December.
"After I did the opening ceremonies for the ride, Steven Spielberg walked up to me and chatted and said 'You know we've got you set to do the fourth one and probably the fifth one on the heels of that," said on how he was approached about the new sequels. "So, I guess in December we are on our way to making 4 and 5."
Could it be Bay's talk about leaving the franchise on a good footing is really a hint at their plans to shoot the next two movies at the same time? It has been done on movies like the Lord of the Rings and would leave Mr Bay in the drivers seat for another movie without the overhead of a second film to shoot 1-2 years later.
