Following on from the review of Megatron, PrimevsPrime has a video on Youtube for Voyager wave 2 Brawl from the Studio Series. While fan reaction to Brawl has been mixed at best since we started getting good looks at it, the general tone of the video seems to be positive, especially praising the detailing. Like the last video you can see the toy in both modes and how it transforms, plus general comparisons including to the original movie line's Leader class Brawl. You can see it all in the video embedded below.
PrimevsPrime on Youtube has gotten hands on Voyager wave 2 for the Studio Series line, and has posted some review videos. First up is Megatron, based on the design seen in Revenge of The Fallen. The review goes over the details and poseability, and then walks through the transformation from robot to vehicle form, as well as giving some size comparison to other movie toys. We have the video embedded below, so click through to take a look!
Following the Variety of reports from Hollywood entailment new outlets. Paramount has officially cancelled what was to be the 7th movie, counting "Bumblebee: The movie", in the Transformers franchise. What's already pretty much well known to have been axed following the demise of the now in-famous "writers room". A "reset" was announced during Hasbro Investor Preview Day event last February. Ironically, the literal pun, "The Last Night", appears to be a real thing.
Weibo user NOTRAB has posted images of a pair of limited-edition figures released only in China: customers who purchased from Hasbro China's TaoBao store on May 15th had a shot at limited edition versions of Deluxe Bumblebee and Leader Blackout! Notrab seems to have lucked out and gotten a "Rusty" Bumblebee, limited to 300 pieces. Only 88 Blackouts were made. Keep reading to see!
By way of Zone Base proprietor and RFC alum Rob Springer, we've got a video posted by L.C.A.Studios, the promotional arm of Universal Studios Japan! The "Universal Spectacle Night Parade" featured an Optimus Prime-themed float, a massive animatronic Bumblebee, some extremely neon (in the lighting sense of the word, not toy-collector slang for `90s colors) NEST troopers. The full video runs about 23 minutes, but we've got the embed set to pick up right about when Bumblebee makes his entrance - keep reading to check it out!
