BotCon 2011 - First Looks at San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Exclusive Matrix Of Leadership Optimus Prime

When we just got out of the BotCon 2011 Hasbro Brand Team panel, we were treated to our first look at the San Diego Comic-Con 2011 Transformers Prime Matrix of Leadership Optimus Prime.

The display includes the packaging, complete with a neck strap.

The premium box is also on display.

I really like that figure. I hope they have some up on the Hasbro Toy Shop after the SDCC.

This is the same mould as the 2-pack one with Megatron (and the kids) right? The deco looks a bit nicer than the 2-pack version (no Allspark Blue on the chest windows, for one) but it'd be difficult to justify paying convention-exclusive prices for something so similar to the retail version.

i love it! And the Prime Megatron looks awesome too. Can't tell anyone when the last Megatron i went to the store and bought on purpose was. Maybe Armada Megatron?

Looks better than in the cover shot from the club mag. Anyone know the price? The figure itself will be worth $10-ish when it comes in that 5 pack with Megatron and the kids. Be hard to justify more than $20 for this, you're basically paying for a lot of packaging. This seems like Hasbro's attempt at 1Up-ing Mattel and their overly complicated SDCC packaging.
