Close-Up Shot of BotCon 2012 Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus Head Design

Remember way back when Fun Publications teased that the Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus from the BotCon 2012 Invasion set has a "surprise in store"?

After yesterday's reveal of the figure, we noticed that the head looked very different from the original Reveal the Shield Optimus Prime head design, and a close-up shot of the head shows that the figure's head is translucent plastic.

The design now resembles a clear crystal head sporting the traditional Prime helmet.

I think this is Hasbro's revenge for all those times we complained about Ultra Magnus toys not getting a unique head sculpt.

That head sculpt could almost pass as a Seacon, given the right colors.

Yep, that definitely looks evil. He's like some sort of Energon monster.
