aiex888, known on Facebook as Nimama's TF, has posted a photo review of the upcoming Ectotron which we've mirrored here for your convenience. It shows off the figure and its transformation very well - in particular this is the best look RAC has yet had at the way that the Ecto-1 mode's roof rack of nifty-looking, undefined ghosthunting equipment becomes Ectotron's Proton Pack. Ectotron is also not the first figure to add more gun-like handles to the particle thrower in order to make it easier to handle for characters with no wrist articulation as that goes back at least as far as the Ghostbusters Minimates.
Also, man is the included Slimer figure a bright green.
Ectotron is a heavily remolded member of the Combiner Wars Hot Spot mold family, sporting the basic robot frame but with a ton of new parts to make the alt-mode of Ecto-1, the Ghostbusters' custom 1959 Cadillac Superior ambulance. (Or possibly hearse; we've seen it identified as both.) It's due out July 29th for an SRP of $49.99 USD.
