Daily Prime - World's Smallest Optimus Prime In The Box

In 2004 Takara began releasing what was at the time the World's Smalled Transformers (WST) toys line. The self-explanatory name offered renders of the original main-line toys made in the mid-80s. Not to be confused with the recently released figures made by SI. These are scaled-down versions that actually transform between their robot and alternate modes.

Today's Prime shot takes a look at some of these original WST Optimus Prime figures in the box. Something not included because Takara sold them in a random-packed box with generic artwork. Fortunately, there were some crafty people who offered after-market boxes to put them in. Takara itself offered one combining Optimus Prime and Megatron in the Dengeki Hobby VSX exclusive made for the Transformers 20th Aniversary. Below that we have the cartoon colors Optimus Prime in a custom box, followed by a third-party WST remake of the Takara C-69 Ultra Magnus Yokokuhen figure in a custom box.
