Drool Alert - Clearer Looks at Asia Exclusives Transformers Generations Deluxes

A clearer image showing all four Asia exclusives Transformers Generations Deluxe Wheelie, Swerve, Springer, and Cliffjumper may make you drool a little bit, so get a hankie ready.

The figures are remolds and recolors, but done in quite a nice way with Springer (Transformers Hunt for the Decepticons Tomahawk) getting a new sword accessory in addition to new sculpt head; Wheelie (recolor/remold from Reveal the Shield Jazz) now includes a slingshot accessory in place of Jazz's handgun; Swerve uses Generations Kup's previously unused pretool head; and Cliffjumper gets a new G1-styled head on the Prime First Edition Cliffjumper body.

40 new gens figures coming out over the next year? You can count on these being one tenth of them

Those words were said in the US. Those figures aren't being released in the US. So i'm not counting them towards my 40.

Same here, I'll take the hit on my wallet, by importing them if there is no word about them coming to the states by October. That way I know for sure I have them then take the chance on Hasbro continuing to be stupid

I'll pick these up if/when they show up in the U.S. but I wouldn't import them. Still, I'm loving the trend. This is repaints done right!

IMHO below:

Springer is the only one I want. i'd be willing to pay hasbro usa retail prices for it. I'm not willing to pay those secondary import prices which will be over $40+,to buy this.

Springer is kind of cheap, but I'd be tempted to buy all of them of if I saw them in a store.

Same here, but htye will not be worth the import price of at least $25

I want all four! Would have been easy buys for me if they were being made for the american market. Cliffjumper looks pretty cool and I wonder how easy it would be to swap the head from PRiD CJ to this one?

Swerve!! I wonder if there's a Gears in the works? Now THAT would be pretty awesome and if he is, Hasbro Please!?!??

Lord_Onslaught 2012-07-09 @ 7:14 pm

I'll bite on Swerve, Cliffjumper is an easy pass, Wheelie just doesn't look right, so I'll pass thre, and I got Warbot Defender so Springer will be a pass
