On Youtube, TonTon Review has posted a video giving us a first in-hand look at Ironworks from Transformers Earthrise Deluxe wave 1! Ironworks is based on a G1 Micromaster battle station which came with the Micromaster Ironworks. A Siege Micromaster with deco based on Ironworks was included with the Target exclusive Micromaster 10-pack earlier this year, but otherwise it looks like the Construction Station is now working solo.
According to some of the promotional material sent out for Earthrise, Ironworks is a Modulator, which is the successor to Siege's Weaponizers. In the review, embedded below, this is quite evident as Ironworks is shown to disassemble just like a Weaponizer for transformation and reassemble as one of two suggested base modes. Other formations are probably possible too - especially if you had more than one of Ironworks to play with. Ironworks can still work as a Weaponizer with other figures too, though that feature isn't shown in the video.
We've also got some size reference shots from the video, which shows Ironworks to be a little taller than average for a modern Deluxe. Ironworks comes in about a head shorter than Ironhide, and stands a bit taller and chunkier than Mirage. The base modes also make a respectable showing in comparative size, with the tower formation being surprisingly tall. We've got stills of that and a number of other detail shots from the video in the gallery below.
