Transformers Ectotron Ecto-1 Afterlife Edition Details and Target Preorders Open

Just announced on Fan First Friday, Target has posted their product listing for the new Transformers Ghostbusters that will go on sale at the 1PM ET / 10AM PT release time announced by Hasbro.

We have the official product information and images to look at in the meantime. The special Afterlife reissue is a retooled and redecorated edition of the original Ecto-1 release what has the following new features:

• New head with Ecto-goggles and face mask.
• Repainted to a faded white base color.
• Added weathering on the front, back, sides, and top.
• Ladder switched to the left side of the vehicle.
• Updated specs for Afterlife
• Slimer figure
• Muncher figure
• Includes special cover edition comic
• New to hold the figure and comic.
• Other changes "fans will notice"

The iconic Ecto-1 Cadillac from the Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie is now a Transformers robot called Ectotron! The Ectotron figure converts between Ecto-1 and robot modes in 22 steps, and comes with a Proton Pack and Blaster accessories, Slimer and Muncher ghost figures, and issue number 1 of the Transformers Ghostbusters Ghosts of Cybertron comic book from IDW Publishing, featuring an exclusive cover. The figure also features an updated head sculpt inspired by Ghostbusters: Afterlife.
