Game Informer continues their month-long coverage of Transformers Fall of Cybertron with a detailed look at the new weapons in the game. Unlike Transformers War for Cybertron, each weapon are upgradeable through universal munitions stations scattered around the planet.
“We really made a conscious choice to make every upgrade a significant improvement, so one upgrade might increase your firing speed by 75 percent,” explains game director Matt Tieger.
Unlike other upgrade systems in other games, each one significantly alters your weapon, Mr. Tieger explains.
Even better, each upgrade only needs to be purchased once as they transfer to weapons to the other characters at the player's disposal.
