Figure of All Revenge of the Fallen Figures Revealed!?

"Yizhi521" has posted several photos of a never-before-seen figure from the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen toyline that is sure to spoil a lot of fanboys!

Looking from these images, it is immediately apparent that this is a figure that is unlike all other figures. Despite numerous speculation of whether or not The Fallen character would appear in the sequel to Transformers, these images seem to reveal that The Fallen will appear in the film, or the toy line at least.

The TF08-supplied images provide two different views of The Fallen figure.

Both images provide two separate views of the head molds and different phases of transformation, which is most likely incorrect.

The figure also has an arm cannon attached to the figure's right arm. The cannon can be flipped down to go over the right hand.

The second image in the gallery also bears a striking resemblance to the teaser poster we have seen numerous times.

It seems that the cannon will fire a missile of some kind.

The Fallen will also sport some sort of jet mode, according to initial impressions from the instruction sheet we have been provided. The jet mode will be complete with landing gear.

I just had a thought..

A battle between Omega Supreme and Devastator would be amazing in this movie.

Looks like a basic, as far as size, but they'll probably end up making it a deluxe. So far, I hate it. Maybe it'll look better in person, but at first look, I'd say I'm not buying it.

Who's the dope who put "the X shaped scar" on his forehead as part of the news? That's very clearly just one of those things they do to try to discourage people from stealing the prototypes in the first place; it's very obviously caused by a heated metal implement being dragged across his forehead, there's bubbling in the plastic for christsakes!

Again with the Flying Kibble Alt Mode?

Seriously?

I don't think it'll be that big a deal. But you have hard core fans who will mostly be familiar with the fallen, then you have people who know nothing about TFormers and won't know the difference. What you're left with is probably the biggest group- people who knew transformers growing up, but have not spent a large portion of the last 20 years obsessing over it. These people largely won't know the Fallen and might be put off by it, depending on how it's presented in the movie. I don't think it's a big concern though- these are probably the same people that just want to be entertained and won't be upset unless it's presented in some really dumb way (of course with Bay and the writers that's a distinct possibility).

I don't think the "knew Transformers but haven't been keeping tabs on it" group will wonder who the heck this Fallen character is. A lot of those fans' memories are vague--they'll remember a cassette player robot and the dinosaurs and the red semi guy, but they won't remember specifics like names and who or what existed.

Remember, some fans swear up and down that Masterpiece Prime was THE TOY they had when they were little. They won't know--or much care--if a new character gets added along the way.

(Heck, I bet at least one person will say, "Yeah, I remember that Fallen guy from when I was a kid!")

Very true.

The more I think about it the more I think that The Fallen may be the perfect bad guy if they plan on keeping Megs dead. The hardcore fans will know who he is and the casual fans will just see this big tank guy who kicks ass and may or may not be on fire. Everyone gets something.

...except for those of us who actually want to see Megatron, "leader of the Decepticons", come back and kick more ass than ever! I guess that's mostly what's bugging me. I don't mind so much the Fallen being introduced, but are we gonna see Prime & Co. pick off one bad guy leader after another from one movie to another? I guess if I see the Fallen in ROTF, then I want to see Megs too...otherwise, I'm personally gonna be a little disappointed.

Keeping Ol' Megs out of one movie will only make his return in the third all the more powerful. I'm pretty sure even Bay understands how important the battle between Optimus & Megtron is. The question is whether or not he'll go down the Galvatron route seing as Megatron had the Allspark (all powerful source of creation) forceably pushed into his spark.

Just found more pics of The Fallen (toy).

99% sure he's Leader Class given his height in comparison to what looks like Optimus.

He looks crazy and sorta like.. a Pharaoh

This may just be crazy as all get out, but that figure reminds me somewhat of Thunderwing from the Stormbringer series. They both turn into crazy jets and the head sculpt on The Fallen sorta resembles Thunderwing's ultra mode hood thingy. Plus the flip-over arm cannon is kinda reminiscent of that same mode of the comic character's repertoire. Any yeas/neas? Some maybes, perhaps?
