First Look At Colored Mickey Mouse Transformer

Thanks to Big Bad Toy Store, we have our first look at the colored version of the controversial Mickey Mouse Transformer figure by TakaraTomy.

The colored version sports a blue and red color scheme similar to Optimus Prime. The image also provides a better look at the robot and vehicle modes.

The figure will come in two variations - colored and black and white.

Since there's a black and white version, could that be considered Nemesis Mickey Mouse Prime.

if I do get one it will be the black and white one.

it looks so much better then i thought! :win

then you thought what? (i'm curious now!)

because they've finnally come out with it in color, thats what i mean

He's taking a potshot at your use of the word "then" instead of "than". Two completely different meanings. :)

Not trying to sound like a douche, but it feels as if this needs stating every time we get images of Japanese exclusives etc.

This is NOT a Hasbro product! This has been designed by the guys at TakaraTomy, under their ownership of the Transformers license in Japan, to better target the collector-dominated market over there. There are no current plans for Hasbro to bring it to a general release in America. This means that American based stores must source them from Japan if they wish to stock them, leading to the high cost of the figure.

Maybe its just me, but a lot of the time it feels as if we're going back to the way it was in the early days of the internet forums, when everyone knew somebody that told them that apparently Metrotitan was a zombie Decepticon created from the resurrected body of Metroplex.

I blame Michael Bay. :)

I never got the Sports or music label but im all over this Disney Label, it fits more in my mind i guess then Sports, and Music was just too damn expensive!

It should be bigger than a Choro Q considering the amount of detail on Minnie Mouse in the cab. And the price suggests just a tad larger then a dlx, imo.

The thing that might hurt this is the paint apps. Like if they missed the blue as Prime/Mickey's chest windows due to paint budgets and otehr details like Prime. Also i think they should have went with the Disney Transformer sign on his shoulder, or shoulderS.

I would be excited if they can get more in the line then just Mickey. And looking that they have a symbol of Disney Transformers Crossovers, (and since there labeled in news as crossovers) it looks as if they may release more characters. I like Pluto to be an Autobot, and Donald to be a :con like.

I get the feeling that this one may turn out to be this years Nike Free 7.0, endless sh*#talk, but then, they're going to be sold out all over the net. I don't think it'll be much larger than a deluxe, if it's that big. I just get this whole "Choro-Q" feel from this thing. I don't think it'll be that small, but I don't think it'll be much larger than that either. Still though, I'm going to have to pre0order both versions..., what can I say, I love the stupid gimmicks we've gotten lately; Sports label, Music label, and now the Disney label.
