Thanks to Clement Soh on Facebook, we've got our first detailed look at the eagerly anticipated Punch/Counterpunch figure that's closing out the "special edition" series of Transformers Generations releases paying tribute to the Prime Wars Trilogy toylines. The poseability of the robot modes is very much on display here, as well as highlighting some of the finer points, like the flip-around hands and the movable helmet trying to obscure the face not currently in use. We also see confirmation that the toy does come with a "Prime Armor" combiner hand accessory, despite not having any combination functionality. Aside from the exclusive deco Prime Master that each Special Edition release has included, the Prime Armor seems to be the only thing linking the toy to Power of The Primes. According to a followup comment by Clement Soh, the toy has hidden ports under the faction symbols allowing it to mount the Prime Armor in robot mode, though that was not demonstrated in the photo shoot.
Punch/Counterpunch is due to be released in the US via Amazon on September 15th.
