Amazon has updated their listing page for the somewhat mysterious Special Edition Repugnus with added details. Currently titled as a Titans Return toy, the new product info specifies not just an included Prime Master - Solus Prime in this case - but also a Titan Master partner. This would seem to lend weight to the idea that Repugnus may be a third iteration of the mold family that already includes Doublecross and Grotusque. There's more information from this listing as well as another to dig in to, so keep reading!
Repugnus's Titan Master is being called Dastard. There's no other information about it, but back in January when we first heard about this toy, I speculated it could be another Battle Beast/Beastformer homage, using Jaded Jaguar as the inspiration due to having similar colors to Repugnus - plus that the Fengul Titan Master could be straight up redecoed to resemble it without needing any more alternate parts.
The current Amazon listing calls out "premium deco" and "special edition packaging". That ought to sound familiar, since very similar language was used in describing the release of Titans Return Arcee, as well as Grotusque. It may not end up that Repugnus will be identical to those releases, but all indications now are pointing to something in the same theme.
And it looks like the listing for Blast Off received some updates as well. While there's no information added that we hadn't discovered from other sources (like the special clear Megatronus Prime Master) the appearance of these details seemingly coinciding with the update to Repugnus may serve to indicate that these figures are both coming up for release in the near future, and may launch either at the same time, or closely one after the other. At the time of writing, Counterpunch's listing had not received any new information.
The best guess at the moment is a possible launch during San Diego Comic Con. The Transformers team has seemed to take some delight in having a special item "stealth launch" during an event, and the timeline could easily be made to work even with SDCC now just over a month away. Of course, these are just two among a number of special or exclusive releases in the pipeline, including the previously mentioned Counterpunch, plus the likes of Nemesis Prime and Wreck-Gar, and right now all we can do is play the waiting game.
