Guido Guidi Done with Transformers For the Foreseeable Future - Updated

Mr. Guidi has provided us a clarification in our Disqus comments, saying he is done with Transformers Ongoing, but not Transformers in general.

Hi - I specified which kind of TF project I did finish for the foreseeable future (I'm freelance) but this does not apply to TF in general...wait and see ;)

Guido Guidi (Transformers Ongoing) has announced that after Transformers 21, he will be taking a break from the Transformers comic book universe for the "foreseeable future."

Posting on his Twitter page, Mr. Guidi thanked a fan who praised him for his recent Transformers Ongoing work, and he responded, "I'm glad many liked them, especially since 19-21 will be my last IDW TF comics for the foreseeable future!"

Our own ladywreck asked him where he was going, but Mr. Guidi says that as a freelancer, it is normal to move on for a bit to work on other things.

@ladyofwreck @FMHdotcom it's not the first time I got a break from IDW TFs. As freelance artist it's normal,I work on other projects too :)

Based on his accounts, it seems like he and IDW Publishing are halting work on amicable terms, and it will not be the last you see of him.
