That's all I'm doing, since I already have the original BW Series on DVD. Plus I already bought Headmasters. So unless they do not release Victory as an individual series. I see no reason to buy the complete Japanese series set

ha. they don't even know whats going on. i'll stick to the individual sets.

Darn! Looks like the Shout! Factory December release dates reported recently for the Transformers Japanese Collection will NOT be this December afterall. According to DVD producer, Brain Ward who sent out a tweet on his Twitter page letting us know otherwise: "Don't believe everything you read on the web (or in our catalog!). TRANSFORMERS JAPANESE COLLECTION is not set for early December, after all"

The release of Beast Wars Complete Series is for general retail. The only way to get it now is through Shout!'s website

Huh. I got my BW Complete Series yesterday as a birthday gift from my sisters and I started watching it last night.

They didn't sell them at SDCC, a previous article pointed out that they wouldn't be able to offer it there. I speculated before when the pre-orders were canceled that it was done because the price was going up and they couldn't increase the price without telling people so it was easier to just cancel them. Looks like I wasn't wrong, the SDCC price was going to be $80 and come with the Fortress Maximus lithograph, but now it's $99.99? Not only is that a $20 increase over the SDCC version of the set, but it's $10 more than it would cost to just buy the five volumes at $30 each (when boxsets are meant to save money). What the heck are they thinking, how can they justify the box set? Unless it's got some really amazing exclusives then I guess I'll just go for the individual sets.

i'm sure they are. I think they like releasing the complete sets to give people some encouragement to buy it early than waiting for the individual parts later. I'm just confused how they were able to sell some this weekend at SDCC. Did anyone actually see them at SDCC or was that press release old?

Are they not releasing Victory by itself? Or am I missing something here?
