Thanks to screamscape.com and dejiki.com who have been quite dilligent about scoping out the progress on Transformers: The Ride that will be opening in Singapore next year.
These guys have spys working the cameras who have captured many new looks of the construction as well as the massive NEST retail store that will accompany the The Ride.
Gosh, there sure is a lot of nifty Transformers gear to be had. Check out the mirrored images and more details after the jump.
From screamscape.com:
(11/11/11) A few pictures of the Transformers: The Ride entrance area and gift shop have been sent in by our Spybot Network.
(11/7/11) Our local Transformer spy went by the park again this past week and sent in two new pictures. The first shows a sign out front of that new restaurant area, which has been named the Starbot Café (HRC: Human Refueling Center). The second shot is a peek through the construction walls at the main entrance to the Transformers attraction where the sign has now been put up. You can’t see it in the photo, but from what I’m told the all the lights at the entrance area are all lit up now as well and it appeared that the workers have begun the process of cleaning up the area, as the grand opening is less than a month away."
Each ride vehicle can seat 12 guests, 4 per row.
Blue 3D glasses will be handed out.
The Supply Vault is perhaps the most awesome retail store in Universal Studios Singapore. It is about 2/3 the size of the retail store in Far Far Away. There are a LOT of items here and dangerously, a lot of good stuff. There is just so much variety that you will most definitely find something you like – Girls included (look for the “bedazzled” t-shirts). I’ve included the price of some items so you can think about what to buy (or whether you should skip the Corndogs, Churros and Turkey legs at the park).
This is the other entrance to the Supply Vault – from the Transformers ride exit. It’s two long ramps, which means it could also be the exit for wheelchairs. Does anyone find it interesting… that this suggests that the unload platform could be at the second level? I know it doesn’t really make sense for an unload on a second level when the loading is on the first level.. or is it? (Unless this is simply the “go up the stairs and down” sort of exit, which is done for: Platform 2 of Revenge of the Mummy, Enchanted Airways, Madagascar: A Crate Adventure)"
