Transformers Nezha Construction Block Sets To Be Released in China

Chinese website "Brick4.com" has product pages up for four different Transformers construction block kits, branded for the China-exclusive Transformers Nezha series. With the product images heavily featuring Hasbro and Transformers branding marks, these products are either legitimate, or incredibly brazen bootlegs. While branded for Nezha, the character designs used are 100% based on Transformers Cyberverse's Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Windblade.

If "Transformers construction block sets" sounds to you a lot like Kre-O, that's because it probably is. While Kre-O has spent the last several years in the US as perennial fodder at the likes of Dollar General and Big Lots, Hasbro's not-Lego brick system has seen rather more success in China, even getting some other Chinese-originated properties on board. What we can see of these sets does not display any Kre-O branding, but we feel it's a safe bet that it's the same thing.

These are unlikely to be marketed outside of China by Hasbro, but of course that doesn't mean that they won't show up on import sites - or even some of the various China-based sites that are happy to sell overseas.
