TRANSFORMERS THE RIDE 3D

Chuck Russell is a show producer for Universal Hollywood and the wanted to create a world where people can interact with giant robots.

Transformers: The Ride 3D will open in Universal Singapore in December and Hollywood in Spring of 2012.

The same team response for the Harry Potter and King Kong rides worked with Michael Bay and Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) for the ride and have enlisted Peter Cullen and Frank Welker.

The Ride
Attendees will walk into the NEST HQ as a new recruit and Ratchet and Ironhide appear on a console and introduce themselves.

After the introduce, recruits walk into a vault and into a briefing room and then all hell breaks and alarms go off.

Evac a new character for the ride shows up and the recruits hop in and help him take the spark to safty.

Ravage jumps out on the hood and he jumps up and down, the vehicle shakes.

He then jumps onto Bumblebee, who grabs him and rips his jaw out.

Optimus Prime greets the recruits but then Megatron shows up and attacks him while Grindor shows up and chases you on streets and rooftops.

Recruits and Evac eventually end up at a high rise that is under construction and Megatron attacks Evac but Prime comes to save you.

The preview of the ride has now ended.

EVAC TOY
Head to NESTNeedsYou.com to enlist.

Evac will eventually be getting a deluxe and Cyberverse Legion toy in 2012.

TRANSFORMERS FALL OF CYBERTRON

Matt Tieger from High Moon Studios is the next guest and is here to talk about the new game.

Jazz is playable and has a grapple hook.

Grimlock is a T-Rex on Cybertron. He looked for spiritual roots and he was turned into a T-Rex by Shockwave.

Throughout the game the player will unravel what happens to him and his "buddies." Grimlock talks the way he does because he has so much power put in him it messes up his speech. High Moon does not see Grimlock as dumb.

In the game, Shockwave uses the Spacebridge to find interesting worlds all over the cosmos and winds up finding Earth during prehistoric times.

The AI has been dramatically upgraded in this game to make it more competitve and better play.

Storywise, Fall of Cybertron takes place right after from previous games where the Decepticons have won and the Autobots just want to leave. They want to add a feature where you can make your own Transformer. While this was done in the multiplayer part of the game, they want to go beyond that.

Like Transformers War for Cybertron toys will be coming. They were a little vague, but they will be again under the Generations line. They quickly flashed a couple of toys, but they were way too quick for us to catch any details.

Q&A

Expect to see the Quintessons on Prime.

All the Prime figures look awesome. I'm dieing to get my hands on them.

I'm looking forward to DOTM deluxe Soundwave & Wheeljack/Q. Glad he looks more like Wheeljack than that stupid looking Q.

That mold for Evac looks great but I'm hoping that it's for Prime and not for DOTM because we've already seen 2 repaints/remolds of that character in Bayverse. It's not the first time we've seen this but I think it's pathetic to use the same names for different toys in a line. Besides why the name Evac? If you paint him Green. He looks like he could pass for a name like Hound.

As for the new DOTM leader Optimus. I wish they would have made his trailer transform into a weapons platform. Nothing too fancy maybe open up similar to his G1 trailer with a few weapons pegged inside.

i think evac will be in the movieverse...because he is the character for Transformers the ride. and the ride is set in the movieverse so :shrug

Damn! So much crying I'm practically drowning in the tears....

You guys all want to bitch, that's great. More power to you. I'm buying what I like and ignoring the rest, same as always.

And I never read your rants timmy so no harm done.

Spriggan.Prime 2011-10-16 @ 11:23 pm

"All Prime all the time"

Means you might have to cut back on the Doogie Howser and actually play Prime more often.

(and for the record Lavern & Shirley WTF!? Did they get the broadcast syndication for a buck? Is that why?)

MikePrime 2011-10-16 @ 8:00 pm

And where the hell is HA Topspin?

Breaker 2011-10-16 @ 7:55 pm

There really isn't anything to get excited about. Unless there is a G1 KREO Soundwave. Did anyone think that the year after the final movie was going to be a down year for TFs?

The only exception was Evac. Is he supposed to be a part of the movie line or the Generations line?

Noisemaze75 2011-10-16 @ 8:30 am

honestly man...i totally agree with you...hooray for repaints....pffffffftt.....
