NYCC 2011 - Transformers Dark of the Moon Deluxe Soundwave and Star Wars Crossovers

Hasbro has been updating their booth at New York Comic Con 2011 with more Transformers action figures coming our way. Just posted are new looks at the Transformers Dark of the Moon deluxe Mechtech Soundwave action figure and new looks at Star Wars Transformers Crossover figures. just like the HA...this is definitely bought on sight..most anticipated toys of the line for me...cant wait for this guy to drop...

EDIT: he is obviously mistransformed...the picture on the wiki shows the proper transformation..

I think there's alot to like about the DOTM line. I'm just not a fan of the lack of paint apps, and if a modern TF figure actually ever included a sheet of decals I think I'd lose my damn mind.

DOTM in a nutshell: if the character was cool and badass in the movie, the toy will be as inversely lame

Yeah...still gonna wait for the inevitable blue repaint. Gray/"silver" has been way overused in the movie lines.

If some repaint/retool of deluxe sideswipe can be made out of silver plastic or paint silver, why not do that for Soundwave? The HA toy has the same problem, and HA Sideswipe got painted silver too. Now, I'm not collecting these toys, but that doesn't mean I don't see this use of gray plastic for a car that's supposed to be silver as a problem.
