Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman sure are busy these days with Fringe
and Cowboys and Aliens
, among others, it is not surprising that the duo had to partner up with somebody, and as we learned from earlier this month, it was Jeff Kline
. And Mr. Orci has nothing but great praise for him.
"We managed to partner with an amazing writer named Jeff Kline," he wrote
on Producer Don Murphy's official message boards.
"He really knows animation and he lead the way in hiring a talented group of writers to get the show off the ground."
Mr. Kline's previous works include Men In Black: The Series
, Jackie Chan Adventures
, and Extreme Ghostbusters
article had me til i got to the end of it and they mentioned those toons that i actually did give a chance back in the day but they didn't impress me. still hoping for the best though.
You can still check out Jackie Chan on one of the Disney Channels. I saw it this weekend right before the Legend of Tarzan :thumb
I saw Jackie Chan adventures, the style was good for human characters, but I'm not sure how it will look for TFs. I'm watching TFA now oon you tube, I'm not watching it for the style or animation, but for the story. I'm not crazy about the way TFA looks.
MIB- I saw a few episodes of it, nothing good or bad to say about it.
Never saw Ghostbusters

Praise from Orci is not a plus in my book.
Edit: That being said, I enjoyed Extreme Ghostbusters for the most part, and what I saw of MIB wasn't bad.
I've never seen the Jackie Chan cartoon, but the Men In Black was fun...and I recently saw most of Extreme GhostBusters and was highly impressed! Certainly nothing wrong with these being on his resume.
I'm not gonna hate his work till I see it. I did enjoy most of the shows listed though.
Now that is the first sign of promise for the shows storylines.
None of those cartoons were terrible, but they all had an artistic style that I would not want for Transformers; besides, we already had that with TFA. Sadly, however, the days of cartoons with realistic character design are long gone.
Jackie Chan Adventures was an awesome show, though that might just be nostalgia talking.
