Thanks to sponsor Tfsource, Just in are official Takara Tomy solicitations showing off the Tranasformers Prime Japan action figures that will feature the addition of the Arms Micron action figures.

The Japanese Prime series will be presented with something the USA does not have! The regular figures with the addition of Arms Micron figures as their partners that are very much like the G1 Targetmasters.

There Arms Micron figures Transform from Robot mode to a Weapon mode that can be utilized by the figure. Far as we know, the Arms Micron will not be part of the Japanese TV series.

In addition to these Arms Micron figures, we have another look at Terrorcon Cliffjumper (a.k.a. Zombie Cliffjumper)!

Unfortunately, while TFSource has pre-orders of Knockout and Breakdown, but the figures are in silhouette mode right now.

The figures revealed include the following:

AM-01 - Optimus Prime: Release Date March 2012
AM-02 - Bumblebee: March 2012
AM-03 - Cliffjumper: March 2012
AM-04 - Ratchet: March 2012
AM-05 - Megatron: March 2012

Even an individual set of Targetmasters released together to compliment existing figures would be nice.

I was hoping Hasbro would have done this with all the PCC minicons. by repainting all the PCC minicons, then put them all in one huge gift set & release them as a store exclusive.

Yep, like they did with pack of something like 15 Minicons they did for K-mart a couple years ago.

I'm hoping hasbro releases these new mold targetmasters in american retail stores packaged with a TF Prime or generations toy.

I'm gonna speculate hasbro will release them in america. because their new molds & not repaints. usually hasbro has a better track record of releasing new mold than repaints that takara advertises.

The Targetmaster angle was one of my favorite things about the PCC series. I'm glad to see it didn't die with the rest of the line, at least in Japan....
