Before it was "Transformers: Prime", the show had a working name of "Robots In Disguise", that was to take the characters from the Hollywood movies and turn them into an ongoing TV Series.
What we got from Hasbro Studios turned out to be very different than what we see here in the original pitch slides that reveal many unused concept designs. Read the notes from Night Shining that are sharing this for the first time with the slides that follow.
It’s been 13 years since Transformers Prime debuted. For better or worse, this franchise was the series intent on transitioning the characters from the big screen to the small.
Like many media projects, the initial idea is often somewhat to quite different than what is finally seen on the screen.
So, with that seems now is the perfect time to show off a little something we have been holding on to for the last 14 years - The original official working pdf pitch for what would eventually be known as Transformers: Prime. The series had a working title of ‘Robots in Disguise’ and as you will see, the design and character selection was initially much more aligned with the live action movies.
So take a look! We are showing off around 20 pages of the pdf here. Some amazing never before seen looks at the Prime series!
Lastly, a gratuitous plug for some other never before seen and one-of-a-kind items, as well as liquidation pricing on various items from the Night Shining store. We are closing up shop at the end of the year, so be sure to grab some amazing items now!
revenge of the fallen Soundwave really is one of my favorites . i even guessed that he would definitely be a satellite thing before the movie came out, because that would be next after a cassette player . the design is truly stand alone and unique , it has a *diablo arch angel * style around it which makes it look very enigmatic . a great hybrid toy for me. studio series coudlnt deliver a decent follow up, and i cant find any good 3rd party who understands the design elements
