Transformers Rescue Bots Sneak Peek Saturday December 17 2011 - Voice Actors Revealed!
Jack Q - Friday, November 18, 2011

The Hub TV Network has some news to share about "Transformers Rescue Bots," the upcoming new animated Transformers series, created specifically for younger viewers. A sneak peek of the first two episodes of the new original half-hour series "Transformers Rescue Bots" will be presented Saturday, December 17, from 12 - 1 p.m. ET. The series will officially premiere in early 2012.

From the creators of "Transformers Prime" comes an all-new animated series following a group of Autobots charged with a mission to protect and learn about humans. Stationed on an island off the Eastern seaboard by Optimus Prime, the "Transformers Rescue Bots" - Heatwave, Boulder, Blades and Chase - team with a human family of first responders including a police chief, firefighter, rescue pilot and engineer to maintain peace and safety in their new found home. Alongside their new human friends, the Transformers Rescue Bots learn teamwork and heroism in a series that brings action, adventure, heart, and humor to the Transformers brand.

Voice talent include Steve Blum (voice of Starscream on "Transformers Prime"), Maurice LaMarche (voice of Morbo and Calculon on "Futurama"), Lacey Chabert ("Party of Five") and LeVar Burton ("Star Trek: The Next Generation").

Created for the younger generation of Transformers fans, the new series from the creators of "Transformers Prime" will feature a simpler, more traditional animation style in a show that centers on a group of Autobots charged by Optimus Prime himself with protecting and learning about humans while stationed on an island off the Eastern seaboard that serves as a high-tech testing ground.

In the first of a series of spotlights on these subdivisions within Hasbro that cover various areas of the toy market, RAC looks at perhaps the most successful and influential brand to contribute to Transformers: Playskool! Keep reading for a brief history of the imprint.
Next up in the new tide of leaks coming from TF-Factory on Weibo is a new Rescue Bots Optimus Primal - which in this line is the name they give to Optimus Prime's Dinobot form! Also shown are a pair of Dinobot Mini-Cons, presumed to turn into accessories for larger figures. It's unknown whether they'll ship with Primal or separately, but if we were guessing... we wouldn't bother, because we have no idea. Click through to see the dinos!

Actor D.C. Douglas, voice of Chase The Police-Bot on Transformers: Rescue Bots - currently the single longest-running Transformers television series - has announced that he will not be returning as Chase for the followup series, Rescue Bots Academy. Neither will anyone else, not even Peter Cullen, as the studio has chosen to recast the entire show using nonunion labor while moving production from Los Angeles to New York.
